Physical Education Expectations
Students will be expected to:
Ø Follow all Prairie Ridge school rules while in P.E. class
Ø Participate in all activities and give their personal best.
Ø Not bring food, drink, candy, or gum into the gym.
Ø Follow directions the first time.
Ø Refrain from all “horseplay.”
Ø Have permission from me to leave the gym floor
Ø Be respectful at all times
Ø Display positive attitudes, good sportsmanship, and cooperation
Ø Be physically/emotionally safe in the PE environment
Behavior Interventions
The purpose of PE is to have all students active each day. However, if a student is interrupting the learning and/or not following expectations the following may be utilized, not in any particular order:

The purpose of PE is to have all students active each day. However, if a student is interrupting the learning and/or not following expectations the following may be utilized, not in any particular order:
- Student may receive a warning
- Student may be removed from the activity for part or all of the time
- Student may complete an improvement plan
- Student may receive a loss of recess
- Student may receive an office referral
- Student may receive a phone call home
- Teacher reserves the right to use other appropriate consequences when applicable
